Yikes!Īlso I need a week view and this doesn't seem to offer it in portrait orientation. Which, if I had relied on this app, I'd have been screwed because it was a bit of a project that could take several days of research to complete. I scheduled one with a deadline.and this app took it as the scheduled date to do it. I'm coming from Todo Pro which you can filter important things so you can see upcoming events. I had a lot of rescheduling to do around vacation and the lack of syncing for view on my laptop could have been disastrous if I didn't have a good memory and level of caution.Ģ-master and scheduled tasks don't show up in daily. Sometimes my old app needed a refresh too but I couldn't figure out how to prompt it here. However with continued use I ran into two big issues:ġ- does not sync with my google calendar. Trust with caution! I wanted to like it, and at first I really did! Took time to start reading instructions, it seemed promising. Being able to move tasks from one day to another, change the status, have an ongoing master list, etc. Would have paid for a working version of this in a heart beat. Sadly, I can't get through to this app's online support either. I am still looking for another version of this app made by someone else. I'm not spending money to buy the pro version if the free version doesn't even work properly. I read the other reviews and decided to take a chance as I NEED this app - but sadly I arrived at the same place of disappointment and frustration as others. So, every day going forward looks the same. But, now every time I add a task it makes the task repeat indefinitely, without creating a repeat rule. It's a digital form of the planner that keeps a person's daily life organized - using the A1,2,3 B1,2,3, C1,2,3 prioritizing method. Still, despite its limitations, Opus Domini Lite is a nice little time management app.I love the fact that this app works like a paper planner book and gives functionality no other app on the market seems to do. It's also unfortunate that there's no client for iPhones and iPads, syncing with the master, as that would really make this a necessary app for us. You can import some data from Gmail, but we could not import from other sources, which is unfortunate. Its resemblance to a day planner will make this a friendlier interface for many to use, it was quick to install, and it was stable in our testing. There is a limit on the number of entries Opus Domini Lite will accept to exceed that limit you have to upgrade to the full commercial package for $8.99.Īlthough we've traditionally used Outlook for managing time and appointments, Opus Domini Lite has a nicer interface and a few features Outlook lacks. Switching from daily to weekly and monthly views is easy. You can check off tasks and move schedules around easily, and there's a nice search ability as well as useful time reporting charts. Opus Domini Lite's interface resembles a typical day planner with times blocked off and task lists shown. Opus Domini Lite then gives pop-up reminders and shows your task schedules each day, helping you manage your time more effectively. You can enter your tasks, goals, and milestones, as well as your mission statements if you have any. Opus Domini Lite is a time management app for Macs.
